Controlling Blood Sugar with Cinnamon

For years, cinnamon was suspected of being able to control blood sugar levels. Studies have now verified that cinnamon works to ALSO lower lipid levels including LDL cholesterol and triglycerides. Cassia cinnamon is known to contain the highest levels of coumarin, which is a naturally occurring ingredient. When consumed in large enough levels, liver toxicity can be reversed. Studies have shown that one gram of cinnamon contained in half a teaspoon was able to reduce cholesterol by 18% and reduce blood sugar levels by 24%.

If you’re not a fan of eating cinnamon, you can always take it in a pill form, but a much higher potency “extract” version. The correct form would be a 4:1 extract, which is the same that’s found in Blood Sugar Optimizer, along with other natural herbs and vitamins that can help lower your glucose levels quickly, safely and naturally.
