Dr. Oz’s Top Cancer Fighting Foods (the 3 best)

I like the below video and wanted to share it because there are 3 primary foods that can help prevent the main cancers (colon, breast and prostate). Inexpensive and easy to implement.

Video Summary

ORANGE COLORS – Eat foods that are orange because they contain beta carotene, which helps clean up the “waste toxins” in your body. Pumpkin and butternut squash are great, so are carrots of course. Sweet potatoes are my favorite =) These are effective at preventing breast cancer.

BEANS – Very high in antioxidants. They actually can cause cancer cells to commit suicide and die. Red and Pinto beans are very good, I also like lentils. These are effective at preventing colon and lung cancer.

CRUCIFEROUS VEGETABLES – Fermented cabbage, which is Sauerkraut… is high in cancer fighting agents and an excellent source of probiotics (not mentioned in the video). These are effective at preventing colon, as well as breast and prostate cancer.

The Common Theme

Now, what do these have in common, so you understand a “theme” in your diet?

  1. Vegetables are GREAT. Eat a lot of them and try to eat a variety of colors. Even non-organic is better than not eating any vegetables at all.
