📈 280% Increase In Erectile Dysfunction -The Cause For 2026

If you’ve seen my videos in the past, you know I’ve mentioned the different causes of erectile problems in men.

I’ve spoken about hormonal imbalances, such as low testosterone, high estrogen, and cortisol levels… and low dopamine levels.

I’ve spoken about poor blood flow and low nitric oxide levels.

I’ve also mentioned other factors such as high pressure, blood sugar, and inflammation.

However, here’s one I haven’t spoken about in the past and it’s something I saw on The Diary Of A CEO with Steven Barlett.

So, two very important things I want to mention now in 2026, and one of them is what Steven did at the very end of this clip that can actually cause erectile dysfunction that they didn’t mention in the interview.

But, I’ll get to that in a minute…

    Oral Health And Erectile Dysfunction

First, the topic is gum disease and oral health.

Most people do not take good care of their teeth. I’ve made a video about this in the past.

But you really need to focus on improving your oral health, especially if you’re a guy and concerned about getting erections…. Or even getting laid to begin with.

    dental health and erectile dysfunction

Bad bacteria in your mouth, coupled with the inflammation, lowers blood flow and thus, can indirectly cause erectile problems.

As you saw in the video, Dr. Victoria Sampson said men who have periodontal or gum disease are 280% more likely to have erectile dysfunction.

Add in sub-optimal hormone levels, stress, and poor blood flow from aging, and that 280% increase in erectile problems will be much worse

On a similar note, there are many times I speak to guys and they have bad breath.

That may not be gum disease YET… But the bad breath is from bad bacteria. Yes, that’s from poor eating, incorrect gut bacteria and from bad oral hygiene and basically don’t doing a good job of keeping your mouth clean.

Sure, your focus is improving your erections. But, if you have bad breath, you’re not even going to get laid to begin with.

    Mouthwash Causes Erectile Dysfunction?

Before I give you some simple solutions, I want to also mention the end of the clip again:

You’ll notice Steven was going to take a swig of mouthwash to kill the bad bacteria in his mouth. You know, he was just joking around.

This is what most people do – take mouthwash to kill bacteria and improve fresh breath.

However, did you know that mouthwash can cause erectile problems?

    mouthwash

Yup, I made a video about this years ago. Here’s what the PubMed Study states:

Short-term clinical trials have shown that antibacterial mouthwash depletes oral nitrate-reducing bacteria, and decreases systemic nitric oxide bioavailability.

Nitric Oxide is what causes erections. This is how drugs like Viagra and Cialis work, by increasing nitric oxide levels.

    Which apparently, mouthwash can DECREASE.

Additionally, the study revealed that 12% of men using mouthwash developed hypertension and thus, high blood pressure.

And those using mouthwash twice daily had an even higher incidence of hypertension compared to less frequent users.

And if you didn’t know, high blood pressure is linked to erectile problems. In fact, Viagra was originally a blood pressure drug. The SIDE benefit was erections.

So, they took the active ingredient which is Sildenfil in the blood pressure drug called Revatio.

Then, renamed the SAME drug Viagra, rebranded it for Erectile Dysfunction, increased the price of the same drug by 10-fold, and then made billions of dollars.

The bottom line is that mouthwash may not be good for erections or blood pressure.

    Action Plan

So, let’s give you some action plans so you can get laid more and have better erections and healthy blood pressure.

Here’s what I do and something you should consider:

    • Brush your teeth at least twice daily, I do it after every meal. I also use an electric toothbrush for better cleaning.
    • Then, floss your teeth after brushing, at least twice a day. For sure before bed at night.
    • Finally, I use a water pick. This stuff is amazing.

Also, don’t rush through it all. Spend at least 2-3 minutes on all of this. Make it a daily habit.

And if you want to improve your erections – these are my favorite solutions. Take a look, then take action, and don’t improve your oral hygiene.

I promise you, if you ignore this simple task, you’ll just make your erections and overall health much worse.

Besides, nobody likes going to the dentist and then finding out you have a stupid cavity, right?
