When I do a blood test, I try to keep my levels on the higher end, over 70 ng/mL.
Thereâs no toxicity to vitamin D. But the minimum your blood test should be is 50 ng/mL
Remember, the goal is not ânormalâ levels, but OPTIMAL levels.
I personally take 5000 units / 125 mcg of Vitamin D3 daily in the summer and double that in the winter, at 10,000 units/250 mcg.
Again, a blood test will give your best requirements.
