Boxers vs Briefs – For Fertility, Testosterone & Sperm Levels, What’s Better?

Video Summary

Men are producing less than 50% of the testosterone and sperm levels they did just a few decades ago. Of course, the type of underwear is not the only cause of this, but it can be a contributing factor for sure.

Briefs, Boxers or Boxer Briefs – which one is better for fertility and testosterone?

Fertility Stats

A 17-year study published in 2018, revealed that men who wore loose-fitting underwear had:

  • 25% higher sperm concentration
  • 17% higher total sperm count
  • 33% higher total motility count

compared with men who regularly wore tight-fitting briefs.

This also revealed higher testosterone levels.

Why Is This?

Testicles are designed to hang outside the male body to keep them about two degrees cooler than our normal body temperature.

Unfortunately, when you wear tight underwear that keeps your testicles close to your body, you risk overheating your testicles and hindering healthy sperm production.

Best Solution?

Ideally, you would wear loose-fitting boxers as much as possible, for sure when you are at home or sleeping.

Once making these changes, it takes about 90 days on average to achieve a significant increase in sperm production and improvement in quality.

You can, of course, speed up the process dramatically by taking specific herbs, vitamins, and minerals, such as those found in AlphaViril, which is what I take.
