Food and diet are very important for building muscle – and everybody is focusing on protein. You need at least one gram of protein per pound of body mass to gain muscle.
You also need essential healthy fats – 10 to 20% of your diet.
When it comes to carbs – try to balance it – increase before and after a workout, and take more on days when you are exercising and less when you are not.
