Why Stress KILLS Your Libido & Testosterone – How To Fix It In 2024

Video Summary About Stress & Libido

Stress can come in all shapes and sizes. Physical and emotional stress is basically the same for the body.

Your hormones react in the same negative action. Basically, as your stress hormones go up – such as adrenaline and cortisol… then your testosterone comes down.

And if you think about it LOGICALLY, it makes sense.

Nature doesn’t want you to have sex and procreate when you’re under stress.

Your body thinks there’s a lack… lack of food, shelter, abundance, and so forth.

So, this is a very bad time to have a baby, and thus, let’s DECREASE your hormones that can stimulate sex drive – such as testosterone.

NOTE: This is for both men and women!

It’s SURVIVAL Time – Testosterone Drops!

As you probably already know, testosterone is the primary hormone that controls your libido, sex drive and for men – erections.

For women, the desire and libido come down as testosterone drops. They also have “vaginal dryness” and thus, sex becomes uncomfortable.

Unfortunately these days, in modern times, we are under constant stress.

Of course, I’m not here to tell you that you need to avoid stress – this can’t be done.

However, I am telling you that you need to better MANAGE your stress. You need to learn how to lower your stress hormones, such as cortisol.

How To Manage Stress & Lower Cortisol

Now, one of the best ways to lower stress and cortisol levels is to get deep, quality sleep.

Ironically, as stress hormones such as cortisol go up, the sleep hormone melatonin goes down and you have a much harder time sleeping… Especially that deep, restful REM sleep.

You have a harder time falling asleep and staying asleep.

So, again, learn to manage your stress so you can decrease elevated cortisol levels and other stress hormones.

Of course, I have done videos specifically about this subject – discover simple ways of instantly improving your stress hormones.

Which will of course boost your testosterone and sex drive, but will also promote better health, fitness, and longevity.
